Who we are

Charles Metcalfe MRICS

Director, RICS Registered Valuer

Charles has valued everything from pan-European portfolios for institutional investors and major banks to individual houses, HMOs and small development sites. His experience covers commercial and residential property, for lenders ranging from high-street banks to bridging lenders, as well as a wide range of non-lending purposes. He has extensive experience in investment valuation, discounted cash flow modelling and development appraisal, having worked at CBRE, Cushman & Wakefield and Carter Jonas.

Metrics Valuation brings that experience to every instruction, with valuations grounded in clear evidence and reported in plain terms.

Charles has been MRICS since 2017 and holds a first-class BSc in Estate Management.

Metrics Valuation is an independent practice regulated by RICS, firm registration no. 917581. All valuations are carried out and signed by Charles Metcalfe MRICS, RICS Registered Valuer. We are not connected to any agent, lender or developer. We check for conflicts of interest before accepting any instruction. Each instruction is accepted only on written terms of engagement, with the purpose, basis of value and fee agreed in advance.

How we work

Every instruction starts with its purpose. Before any work begins we confirm what the report is for, who will rely on it, the property interest and the relevant date, and we set out the scope and fee in writing.

We do not provide valuations for mortgage lending or secured lending purposes.
